Over our 35+ years in business, Simon and the team have been lucky enough to be tasked with custom creating home cinema projects in a wide variety of properties in a range of locations across the UK and abroad. Here’s just a handful of our favourites:
Converted Garage
The owners of this property wanted to make better use of their 3m x 6m garage space and wished for us to transform it into a cosy home cinema for the whole family to enjoy. Combining the best technology available with smart acoustic treatments, sumptuous comfort and more made for a truly immersive and luxury experience.
A new Sony 4K SXRD projector was installed to provide crystal-clear visuals on the far wall, alongside audio from Monitor Audio Speakers and Subwoofers. All cabling and hardware not intended to be on show were stowed away in the back of the room to maintain an uncluttered feel to the room, while adjustable LED lighting along the pathway and side walls provided the illusion of more depth. Full control of AV, lighting, temperature and more is possible, remotely, courtesy of portable Control4 touch screens.

Outdoor Entertainment Pod
Our clients wanted part of their garden to be revamped into a space for family and friends to get together to enjoy music, sport, TV and films in the evenings. This would require a bespoke design with consideration to optimal visuals, uncompromised audio, sheltered comfort and beautiful aesthetics to blend into the existing landscaping and look.
The Clarke team installed a multi-purpose Caribbean Blinds pod, featuring fully configurable retractable side and roof panels (preventing glare from the sun and providing shelter from the elements). A Samsung Terrace QLED TV, with anti-reflection technology and weather resistance, perfect for outside viewing, was paired with Sonance Outdoor Speakers and hidden subwoofers for immersive, balanced audio throughout the garden. The pod is completed with ample comfortable seating for friends and family.

El Padrino
El Padrino, a project which landed us a Finalist spot in the 2020 CEDIA Awards, is the ultimate luxury entertainment space. The Clarke team were integral at all stages of this project, from full planning, to careful installation, to final programming – and the results are stunning.
This large room featured a Barrisol Clim ceiling, the first of its kind installed in the UK, a stretched fabric ceiling treatment which, as well as adding to the sleek design of the room by concealing unsightly equipment from view, aids with noise cancellation and temperature control, ensuring viewers can immersive themselves in the action on screen, with no unnecessary distractions.

Converted Water Tower
A memorable and prime example of our team’s ability to adapt, and to maximise the available space. This room featured a pre-existing spiral staircase, which was to stay functional and in place without preventing views of the action from seating elsewhere in the space; no mean feat in a room benefitting more from height than its available floorspace.
To account for the staircase, we implemented two screens on the wall alongside two rows of multi-level seating to ensure a view of the action wherever you’re sitting; the two screens are also excellent for multi-player gaming.
