March 18, 2019Simon made his annual pilgrimage to Amsterdam for ISE earlier this month to take in the world’s largest exhibition for AV and systems integration professionals, to provide up-to-date, expertise advice to his clients and deliver the latest technology at their fingertips. He was blown away with all the latest tech on display from Atmos, CEDIA, Control4, Crestron, Lutron, Meridian Audio and many more. Here’s some of our favourite technologies that were on show:
One of the stand out performers at ISE 2019 were Future Automation. The first product of theirs that caught the eye was the new servo-based Split-Box, an 82” Samsung display which is hidden within a bespoke cabinet, revealing the screen with speed and style. The screen comes with height matched Leon profile side speakers to further enhance the home cinema experience.
Future Automation were also displaying a Servo Lift, which can raise and rotate a 55” screen in under five seconds. Showcasing the speed and accuracy of servo motors, this product demonstrates the future of commercial and residential automation solutions.
LG were another brand exhibiting some fantastic products with eye-catching displays. One product that particularly stood out was the LG signature OLED TV R partnered with the OLED Video Wall. Similar to Future Automation, the OLED TV R ascended from a brushed aluminium cabinet presenting a phenomenal TV wall with a Dolby Atmos surround sound speaker system.
One brand that got us looking down at ISE was Uniview LED. Here at Clarke Infinity we focus on delivering unique Barrisol stretch-ceilings to decorate any room creatively, however Simon was captivated by this interactive touch-sensitive LED floor which showcases the huge advancements in display technology.
Saving the best ‘till last, Optoma returned to ISE 2019 with its biggest stand to date, demonstrating the FHDQ130 from its new QUAD series – which was awarded Best of Show 2019!
Optoma QUAD produced a game changer for LED displays. With an impressive 130” full HD image with unbelievable depth of colour and detail, a flatter screen surface, remarkable image quality, 170° viewing angle and a robust design less susceptible to damage, this was a well-deserved winner.
As expected, ISE 2019 demonstrated some exceptional developments in technology. Many exhibitors used the show as a launchpad for hundreds of great new products, technologies and solutions, providing us with an immense amount of knowledge to deliver to our clients.
