PlayStation 5 Pro Console On The Big Screen

After years of rumour and speculation, Sony has finally confirmed it is set to launch a more powerful (and expensive) version of its PlayStation 5 console… and gamers just can’t wait.

The PS5 Pro will feature stunning graphics and will display games at higher, more consistent frame rates.

Mark Cerny, the excited lead architect of the PS5, describes the PS5 Pro as “the most powerful console we’ve ever built”.

The system is being launched on November 7 with pre-orders from September 26. But it doesn’t come cheap with a price tag of £699.99. However, while that is a few hundred pounds more than the PS5, the developers believe dedicated gamers will think it is worth the extra money. Importantly, these new age consoles won’t just be for exclusive games. Games will still be released for PS5 and gamers can then choose whether to play them on a regular console or the pro model.
