To get some inspiration for your home cinema, read about our most recent home cinema project, El Padrino, for our regular clients Martin and Lisa – which also recently landed us a coveted Finalist spot at the 2020 CEDIA Awards (results still to be announced at time of publishing).
The cinema is the ultimate in luxury, reflecting the couple’s wish to create a space in which to relax and entertain. Martin and Lisa wanted the room to deliver a cinematic punch and be very comfortable.
The cinema room features speakers by Wisdom Audio, which together with the big screen, Sim 2 Nero 4K Projector and Kaleidescape movie player, creates the best and most immersive viewing experience possible.
A worry that people sometimes have when toying with the idea of a home cinema is sound making its way into other rooms of the house. The implementation of acoustic panels, heavy access doors, noise control seals and more will ensure Martin and Lisa can enjoy stunning audio without any other rooms in the house being affected.
El Padrino includes a Barrisol Clim ceiling – the first of its kind in the UK. The Clarke Infinity team designed and installed the ceiling and acoustic wall panels, to not only deliver a lavish finish, but as the perfect solution to Martin and Lisa’s wish to include air conditioning without the cinema room being affected by adverse noise from the air con unit. The Barrisol Cinematech Acoustic treatment allows the room to be the optimum temperature, but you cannot see, feel, or hear the HVAC. The acoustic solutions coupled with the equipment installed make this a very memorable project.
