THE SOLUTION

Solid foundations for audio excellence

One of the problems when working within a swimming pool is the acoustics of the room, which can often completely throw cold water on your hopes and plans for a smart audio solution within the space – so much so that sometimes, it is simply not worth putting any speakers in. For this project, the Clarke Infinity team were involved from the very outset of the room’s construction, meaning we were able to expertly prep the space for audio excellence.


We put some acoustic plaster into the walls and ceiling to optimise the acoustics of the room, as well as installing a beautiful Barrisol® stretch ceiling, which will help to mitigate that unmistakable echo that you get in any swimming pool – whilst also serving to reduce moisture damage to the room by creating a vapour barrier between the humidity of the room and the ceiling, walls and selected fixtures. Paired with Bowers and Wilkins Marine speakers, expertly selected and discreetly strategically installed in the steam room and within the ceiling of swimming pool area. Integrated with Control4 and with the additional twinkle of Orluna Down lights … the results? Simply amazing sound – in stunning surroundings.
