We’re pleased to share that Clarke Infinity has been shortlisted as a finalist in the 2023 CEDIA Smart Home Awards, in the Lighting Excellence category, for our installation of a stunning, integrated entertainment space that is bursting with character.
We’ve been at the forefront of installing luxury home entertainment systems for 30 years and we’re delighted to have been recognised by CEDIA, the association for smart home professionals, after judging by a panel of global industry experts. CEDIA has a global membership serving the smart home technology industry which aims to connect, empower and champion home technology professionals. The CEDIA awards programme represents the finest residential projects of the year and Clarke Infinity’s project will be up against others from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Our expert team were commissioned to design and install an opulent bar room featuring ambient lighting, immersive sound and a state-of-the-art automation system. At the heart of this home improvement project was a magnificent centerpiece in the property’s main entertainment space.
Taking its inspiration from a classic period of history, the challenge was to create a stunning 1920s cigar and whiskey bar which also elegantly featured the latest in contemporary lighting and audio. The Patagonia stone from which the bar was made was handpicked.
Using some of the highest CRI light fittings available on the market, stunning Italian designer stone speakers, acoustically treated walls and an intelligent automation system paired with some of the highest quality finishes, we were able to deliver both “Form and Function” without compromise.

As part of the audio-visual design, the whole system was to be fully automated and controlled, allowing the client to create exactly the ambience and atmosphere of their choice at the touch of a button. When a person enters the room, the back-lit Patagonia bar top and back bar illuminate at their lowest level giving a soft glow to the room. When presence is no longer detected, the light softly fades off.
The project, which cost in excess of £100,000, also featured hidden picture rail and pattressed outlets for speakers and lamps.
