As you will have seen from our previous updates, the Clarke Infinity team have been working from home in line with government guidance at the end of March and we’re delighted to announce that the team will be returning to Clarke HQ on 1st June.
We believe this represents a positive step in the right direction and one that will bring some hope and relief to many businesses and their customers.
We have worked hard to keep all of our customers connected – with broadband, Wi-Fi, CCTV, technical support, installations, design and more – and we’re pleased to be able to get back to HQ, putting us in an even better position to meet your needs and work with you on exciting future projects.
Rest assured that this will not make us complacent; we will continue to maintain high levels of hygiene and cleanliness and our current procedures for home visits and installations will stay in place for the time being to protect both our customers and staff.
Ahead of home visits, we will continue to:
- Complete everything we can with you over the phone and at HQ; this includes gaining as much information about your space and the installation as possible in order to minimise the need for face-to-face communication ‘on the day’ – we may also have you speak to engineers on the phone where required for this purpose.
- Establish ahead of time if anyone within the household is displaying or has displayed symptoms associated with Covid-19 and if so, schedule visit dates accordingly; this process will also include your completion of a declaration form.
- Wherever possible, request that customers remove themselves from the workspace while we work on the installation in their home, minimising unnecessary face-to-face contact for everyone’s safety. Any face-to-face consultations will adhere to social distancing measures and where possible be conducted outside.
- The team will continue to sanitise their hands before entering the property and are equipped to keep themselves and their equipment and tools clean throughout. They have gloves and are happy to wear these if you prefer. They will not accept any refreshments during home visits.
Customers will now be able to visit us at HQ for consultations and to visit the CCTV showroom, and we will endeavour to keep numbers to a minimum so we can maintain social distancing at the recommended 2 metres. Surfaces and products will be kept clean and sanitised.
