The Clarke Infinity team always welcome a challenge and we love to get our teeth stuck into a new project, a chance to flex our creative muscles and deliver some incredible, exciting smart home solutions for our clients.
This latest project was no exception. Looking for multiple elements and upgrades, inside the home and in the garden, to cover everything from a fully integrated smart system, outstanding AV, automated blinds and top-notch home security, the client wanted clutter-free, discreet aesthetics to blend in seamlessly with their existing décor and contemporary design elements. They were also keen for their home, and the equipment within it, to be as energy efficient as possible.
Our priority was to ensure that all products we recommended hit the aesthetic brief without the slightest compromise to advanced, flawless functionality and performance.
About the Installation
For automated lighting solutions, blinds and heating, we turned to Lutron products to ensure that the homeowners had simple, user-friendly control to make the most of the natural light within the home, easily conserving heat and energy at the touch of a button. Lutron blinds were fitted in every room in the property to integrate with and work alongside the Clina surface heating and cooling system in the ceiling to maximise energy efficiency.
The installed lighting and heating system can be controlled remotely via the Lutron app or utilising the Homeworks QS International Touch Base Keypads fitted into walls throughout the house.
As with most homeowners, it was a priority that the properly be kept safe and secure, which called for a reliable, top-of-the-range security and alarm system. Our solution featured blackout smart glass and Hikvision cameras alongside security lighting to maximise the potential for surveillance and could be accessed and controlled through other components within the system – such as the Control4 T3 Series 10 In-Wall Touch Screens – quickly and easily.
